  • Making Home Affordable – a vital part of the Financial Stability Plan introduced by the Obama Administration earlier in 2009 to provide refinances and loan modification to qualified homeowners. The refinance program is targeted at homeowners with a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac loan (among other qualifications) and will help homeowners refinance their loans even if they are upside down in their home (when you owe more than the house is worth). Not sure if you have a Fannie Mae or Freddie Mac loan? Use the Loan Look-Up tool to find out. The loan modification program will help qualified borrowers modify the terms of their loan to make it more affordable. Take the eligibility quiz to see if you’re a candidate.
